Star Trek and BEYOND

Took my guys to see Star Trek Beyond Monday night. I HAD to do a mani to celebrate my favorite Scifi universe.
I printed some images on white water decal paper that I ordered from Amazon,
It's opaque white so you can use it on dark polishes. I printed it so that the largest image was about 3/4 inch wide. I let the ink dry for at least 20 minutes and gave it 3 light misting coats of the matte fixative spray paint. This will keep the ink from bleeding in the water or when you top with clear nail polish.
I painted my thumb, middle and little finger with 2 coats of black polish. My pointer and ring finger I painted with 3 coats of an Indy polish from Crows Toes called Even sugar melts in the devils mouth. It's a purple polish with purple glitter and holographic glitter as well.
I trimmed the Star Trek Beyond decal to fit on the nail and dropped it into the water. I slid the decal off the paper and pressed it onto my thumb. Blot with a paper towel to remove excess water and allow to dry. Do the same with the ship, nebula and small title.
I painted the :stars" on my ring finger with Color show jewels in Precious pearls.
If there is any white showing on the decals touch it up with the appropriate polish. Once fully dry top with 2 coats of your favorite matte top coat. Make sure to brush on the tip edge and the underside of your nails.
The movie was awesome and I just have to include, RIP Anton Yelchin who plays Chekov . Such a terrible loss to his family friends and fans. Rest easy young man, you will be remembered and missed.
