French Twist

Being allergic to polish remover, I need to make sure that whatever I paint my nails with is going to look good for at least 5 days to give my skin a rest. I've been experimenting with more demure looks lately and came up with the twist on a french manicure on the left.

I got some fantastic nail vinyls off ebay - they're great for getting a perfect smooth line. I did two coats of "Don't Burst My Bubble", waited for them to be completely dry, then used the nail vinyls to mark off the tips which I painted with "Alpine Snow". I topped it all off with Seche Vite.

I did the same for my next manicure but thought I'd use a much more dramatic colour for the tips. I followed the same method but used a layer of "Every Month is Oktoberfest" for the tips instead.

I think this would look great with just about any colour and is a great way to do something bright but not too out there.
