Earth Day nails with a recycling symbol, water, Earth shapes, and wood. http://thepolishplayground.blogspot.ca/2014/04/earth-day-nails.html
Created this mani just for Nail Polis
For me Earth means green, means flowers, means blue skies, fresh air.I like spring and I think is the best season that can describe Planet Earth. I painted my nails with a pale blue (Gabrini) and then sponged the tips of the nails with three type of green to create the grass impression. I painted with acrylic colors the flowers and I sealed all with Kallos speed dry top coat.
Here is another Earth Day manicure painted with all nail polish.
Here are my Earth Day Nails! Inspired by the colors of nature and earth itself! Green - Grass, Trees Light Blue, Blue - Sea, Sky With the Water Marble technique I've played around creating a unique look mixing these colors! For the accent nail, using acrylic paints I've created a cute earth design hand painted =) Hope you like it! Happy Earth Day =)
Hibiscus!
Happy Earth Day folks, hope its a good one, where-ever you are.
My right hand (always hard to take a good pic of that haha) A 4 colored sponged gradient base over a white. Stamping using CH33 (recycle), FUN2 (earth), Winstonia W104 (Earth Day) and Cheeky XL L (panda).
Although I am not traditional on the environmental issue, I do love this beautiful planet.
This mani offers a dichotomous representation of Earth Day symbols about recycling, energy consumption, and growth in a 'lights out'/'lights on' binary. Although the 'lights off' theme of Earth Hour is distinct from the observance of Earth Day, the end goal of raising awareness about the sanctity of our planet is mutual.
