Seven Deadly Sins: Gluttony

First thing's first, I'm not Christian at all nor do I believe in Hell. However, the concept of the Seven Deadly Sins has always fascinated me along with their corresponding Crown Prince of Hell. So I wanted to do a series of nail art based on the Seven Deadly Sins. First, I did Gluttony. I also pulled inspiration from Stephen Webster's Seven Deadly Sins jewelry pieces for the accent. Gluttony's corresponding colour is orange. I wanted to basically make the nail art have as much crap as possible on it since it's about overindulgence. Glitter, metallic splatter, gradient in cremes, flakeys (though you can't see them...), iridescent orange dots....Just a crapton of tacky stuff all shoved onto the nail while the accent remained neutral. The lips/cherry are done in acrylic paint.

Okay, this isn't my favourite mani I've done. This is for week 3 of the 52 Week Challenge, and the theme was saran wrap. I dunno what happened, but it didn't work for me this time. Could've been the polish or the cheap saran wrap. I was also inspired to do pink opal by Ohmygoshpolish. I couldn't think of what I wanted to do.

The Zodiacs: Libra

The challenge for week 18 of the 52 Week Challenge is half moons. To be truthful, I had a hell of a time deciding how to go about doing this. This week was my birthday week as well, so I wanted to do my zodiac sign of Libra. Libra's colours are pastels and blue. So I did a pastel rainbow, since rainbows are my favourite thing ever, with the blue half moon and tons of glitter. The scales and constellation are acrylic paint.
