My friend told me to paint kitties on my nails, so I did. The design is partially inspired by Elleandish on Youtube. The kitties are done entirely in various acrylic paint, as well as the paws.

Floral-y Goodness

This was the first time I've ever done roses. I'm pretty proud of the result! The main design I saw on PiggieLuv and switched up the base colour from pink to the blue. Her tutorial helped me a LOT. The accent I don't remember who did it. :( I feel bad about that. I know I saw it on a blog, though. I forgot to save the picture. If anyone knows, please let me know so I can credit! All the flowers, vines and details are done in acrylic paint.

Seven Deadly Sins: Pride

First thing's first, I'm not Christian at all nor do I believe in Hell. However, the concept of the Seven Deadly Sins has always fascinated me along with their corresponding Crown Prince of Hell. So I wanted to do a series of nail art based on the Seven Deadly Sins. In the third installment, I've done Pride. I also pulled inspiration from Stephen Webster's Seven Deadly Sins jewelry pieces for the accent. So, week 14's theme is French manicures. I hate French manicures, as I've mentioned before in my previous arts. But I thought it'd be perfect for Pride since it's a classic look. I did the tips in glitter for flash factor, and that makes it classy yet flashy just like a peacock. Purple is also the colour for Pride. I wish the purple glitter in the black line outlining the French tip showed up better but oh well. The accent design is done in acrylic paint.

Cutie Pastel Desserts

Week 16 of the 52 Week Challenge is food. Originally, I was gonna do some sort of candy logo/wrapper sort of deal but I had recently bought a new pastel pink polish I wanted to test drive. Plus, my sister bought me the glitter that's on top of the blue nail and I wanted to test that out, too. Fun fact: It glows in the dark which is coooool...and hilarious at the same time because only the one nail glows. It's charged by light. Also the polish STINKS SOMETHING AWFUL. Holy hell I've never worked with such a strong and icky smelling polish before. I also broke out two Hard Candy polishes I haven't used in a LONG time because they got too goopy. I now have polish thinner, and I made them work! :D AND I have a nice pink that finally matches the pink one. The thumb is painted yellow with a little lime drink thing but my thumbnail is broken and icky so I didn't take a picture of it. :D Soooo yep. All the desserts are done in acrylic paint.

The Zodiacs: Sagittarius

I've done my submission for the next challenge early. Week 17 of the 52 Week Challenge is pink and/or purple, so I went with purple. And since I went with purple, it was a good opportunity to do Sagittarius. The colour palette is, as far as I could tell, all shades of purple. More water marble decals were done and I think they're much nicer than my previous attempt on Cancer. It took some experimentation, but I got the hang of it. However, the outside rings of polish I had to take off were very thin and just...kinda fell off? The pieces got EVERYWHERE and clung to EVERYTHING. X_x The constellation was a headache and I was worried it wouldn't actually fit on my nail. Doesn't look quite like my practice drawing of it in my sketchbook, but I had way more room there. The sign and the constellation are done in acrylic paint. I dedicate this one to my friend Hillary. :)
