Background nail art by talented Nailpolis member, Kristin.
I wanted to do a USA flag inspired design to wear in a parade that day. I painted the nail blue and let it dry and set. Then I used a hole reinforcement sticker placed on my nail and painted the ends red. Then I used my daughter's white striper nail art pen to do the stripes. Some glitter placement for stars, and topped with Fairy Dust from China Glaze.
Wanted to do a gradient sponge for July 4th. I painted my nails white with Essie Blanc and let it dry. I then sponged on the two Julep colors and topped with China Glaze Fairy Dust.
All hand painted with acrylic paint and inks, finished with acrylic gloss spray. Done for a college competition. Featured in Scratch magazine.
This one is so simple, but I just love the way it came out. I just used my dotting tools to make the lines of dots in ascending sizes and descending sizes.
I may be from England but I'm obsessed with America! This is my salute to July 4th
