Indian Art

In #ILLnailchallenge, theme for this week is Religious celebrations. This week is a big hindu festival which goes on for 9days called Navratri. During these nine nights, nine forms of Shakti/Devi/Goddess are worshiped. The beginning of spring and the beginning of autumn are considered to be important junctions of climatic and solar influences. These two periods are taken as sacred opportunities for the worship of the Divine Mother Durga. The dates of the festival are determined according to the lunar calendar and today is the eighth day, Astami. For the day i choose the symbol of OM,mystical sound of Hindu origin and the decoration on mata ki chunri, goddess stole.
i started with base of OPI Solitaire. On ring finger , stamped the image in KC Metallic orange and A-46. Then using the same plate and essie forever yummy, stamped OM. Now on other fingers using same essie polish and Cici . Sisi plate 03. Now using loreal jelly polishes in orange, Blue and red and a dotting tool i dot in the image. Then using OPI Honey rider, i dot it againn filled in some places also. I didnt use a top coat for this look. Hope you all like this and chant Jai Mata Di(Hail Goddess) with me.
