I've been wanting to create beach nails (using Instagram tutorial from user @kbkopija) and when I saw people supporting World Turtle Day, I had to join in! Sadly, I realized I've never painted turtle before, but still wanted to participate. I used acrylic paints for the turtles.
Here is my entry for World Turtle Day. Growing up Turtles were & remain my absolute favorite! I had a pet turtle named Shelly.
What intrigued me most about Turtles is that their Mother's lays & buries her eggs in the sand & leaves them to return to the water. When it is hatching time, these Turtles must find their way up through the sand & to the water on their own to survive.
Happy World Turtle Day.!
It is a simple nail art, with a accent nail.
Here's a cute turtle mani to celebrate World Turtle Day. I used acrylic paint to create the turtle shell design, and to create my little turtle ♥
Well, at least I have a turtle and I tried. That must count! :)
TMNT and splinter nail art! Loved this tv show when I was a kid and thought it would be cool to paint these back into fashion
Plates are CH-38 (full nail shells), BM-313 (full nail turtle shell), ST-01 (little turtles), AE plate 65 (ring finger), Sailor 01 (Turtle & shells). Base polishes are CH, turtle shell stamped with Zoya Giovanna, shells stamped with Zoya Louise, KC Black used for the turtles & shells.
Added a turtle and underwater gradient to my previous mani. I love turtles
I was inspired by turtle's shell.
I used BM-313 image plate to stamp the pattern with Saint George over Beijos de Brazil.
My favorite plushie is in the background haha. I'm totally in love with turtles.
